Karachi: Studio23, a new multibrand lifestyle store opened its doors with a soft launch inaugurated by Dr Nafisa Shah, ex-MNA known for her support of local crafts.
Studio23’s mission is to promote local artisans and crafts to help create a circular economy that benefits more people. It also offers a one-window retail, marketing, and training service for its vendors. The store is located on the ground floor of building 23c on 10th Street off Khayaban-e-Mujahid in Karachi’s DHA phase 5.


The event was well attended by the public and fashion fraternity who appreciated the handcrafted product mix. Writer Zurain Imam said this is a wonderful step for small businesses and the circular economy as materials are being upcycled and recycled to help reduce wastage and ultimately the environment.
Products are from lifestyle categories of home, jewelry, skincare, and fashion. Currently, there are ten vendors with their unique creations and styles.
