PAKISTAN : 72 tigers died in a few weeks due to deadly viruses and bacteria at a private animal park (Tiger Kingdom) in Chiang Mai province, Thailand. According to local authorities, the test reports of the dead tigers found canine distemper virus and bacteria that affect the respiratory system. The director of the National Livestock Department says that it is difficult to recognize the symptoms of disease in tigers in time, and by the time the situation was assessed, it was too late. The park administration could not immediately be reached for comment on this matter.
