The newly delivered freighter was greeted with a traditional water-cannon salute as it touched down, drawing an enthusiastic response from aviation and logistics officials present at the airport. The aircraft was formally received by Director General Civil Aviation Nadir Dar, TCS Chairman Khalid Awan, senior regulatory officials, and members of the TCS management team.
The arrival of the dedicated cargo aircraft, carrying the tagline “Shaping New Trade Routes,” represents a significant expansion in Pakistan’s air freight capabilities. The freighter is designed to serve high-volume and time-sensitive cargo routes, aiming to reduce transit times for exporters and importers across key domestic and international corridors.
Officials said the new addition to the fleet will strengthen Pakistan’s logistics infrastructure by increasing cargo capacity, improving delivery efficiency, and creating new commercial opportunities for trade and e-commerce sectors. It is also expected to support exporters by ensuring faster and more reliable access to global markets.
The development is being seen as a strategic step toward modernizing Pakistan’s air cargo network and enhancing competitiveness in regional and international trade logistics.
