Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi and former federal minister Munis Elahi met Chairman PTI Imran Khan via video link. In the meeting, matters of mutual interest, political and administrative affairs and welfare programs of the people were discussed. While the development projects in Punjab and the plan of action for immediate solution of people’s problems were also discussed.
Imran Khan directed to start Ehsaas program, Sehat Insaf Card and other welfare programs in Punjab immediately and said that the previous Punjab government ignored our welfare programs. He said that the time has come to speed up the public welfare programs without delay so that the people can get relief.
Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi said that the Ehsaas program, Health Insaf Card and other public welfare programs will be promoted rapidly in Punjab and all possible steps will be taken to provide relief to the people. Meanwhile, in the video link meeting chaired by Imran Khan, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, Monis Elahi, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Farrukh Habib, Dr. Sania Nishtar, Hashim Jawan Bakht and other officials participated in the meeting through video link from Lahore.
While Fawad Chaudhry, Dr. Shahbaz Gul, Asad Umar and others participated in the meeting through video link. In the meeting, it has been decided to relaunch public welfare projects to give relief to the people of Punjab. Imran Khan approved to start “Ehsaas Ration Program” in Punjab.
Addressing the meeting, Imran Khan said that due to the incompetence of the current federal government, the people have been left in the mill of inflation and every citizen is worried about the destruction of the economy in three months. Apart from this, Pervaiz Elahi has taken notice of the Tehre murder incident near Gajoji Bridge in Dera Ghazi Khan and has sought a report from the Inspector General of Police.
Earlier, Parvaiz Elahi was presented a guard of honor on his arrival at the Chief Minister’s office. The Chief Minister was saluted by the police force. Pervaiz Elahi inspected the guard of honour. Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi met with the staff of the Chief Minister’s Office and offered prayers.
