Karachi: In a statement, the Superintendent Vice President of Cantonment Board Korangi Creek AD Chandio said that we dedicate ourselves to the welfare of the people of Alaiq and vow that we will spare no effort in improving it within our means and will make every effort to improve the fate of its people with our body, mind and money. Meanwhile, all the political and social organizations of the region have welcomed the appointment of AD Chandio. All the lawyers’ organizations, journalist associations and business personalities have also garlanded him and expressed their full support regarding his personality. All senior leaders of the PPP have sent congratulatory messages on his appointment and expressed their full support. We hope that under his patronage, the long-standing problems of the people of the area will be resolved and the Cantonment Board Korangi Creek will move on the path of development. AD Chandio demanded that notice be taken of the spraying of harmful mosquito spray by the old councilors. He said that we conveyed this to the officer in charge of the office, Sunil Chheda, that due to the abundance of mosquitoes and dogs in the area, a campaign should be launched to destroy/kill them. But the former chairman, on behalf of the councilors, personally purchased the spray, which is expired and harmful to human health, and sprayed it in the area. The local people have pointed out that its smell is dangerous to human life, which is due to its expired date. Therefore, notice should be taken of this matter and they should be prohibited from taking any action without permission that may cause embarrassment to CBKC.
