Turin, Italy – TELT has launched the “Building the Future” summer school, dedicated to young enthusiasts of Europe, mobility, and innovation. The program, set to take place in June at the Collège des Ingénieurs in Turin, is named after Mario Virano, the former general manager of the company.
The initiative was announced during the Connecting Europe Days 2024 in Brussels, an event organized by the European Commission for projects related to the TEN-T transport network.
Manuela Rocca, TELT’s deputy general manager, emphasized Virano’s belief in the Turin-Lyon line as an opportunity for innovation and excellence, making the summer school a fitting tribute to his vision.
The summer school will run from June 17 to 28, with 25 young professionals from across Europe expected to participate. The program will cover topics such as geopolitics, sustainable development, innovation, and security in infrastructure projects.
Applications are open to individuals under 31 with a master’s degree or equivalent in STEM disciplines, politics, or international relations. Interested candidates can apply on the official website www.building-the-future.eu from April 3 to May 5, 2024.
