To pay Tribute to national Heroes Martyrs’ Day was celebrated at Chitral Scouts Headquarters.

CHITRAL: Like other parts of the country, Martyrs’ Day  (Yomi Takbeer) was celebrated in Chitral as well. In this regard, a  simple but prompt  ceremony was also held at Chitral Scouts Headquarters. Commandant Chitral Scouts Colonel Sami was the Chief  guest  on this occasion.  Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Ali Khan and District Police Officer Ikramullah Khan were also present on this occasion.  Colonel Sami, DC Chitral and DPO also offered flowers garlands at the memorial of the martyrs and prayed for their forgiveness. Colonel Sami and Other guests also offered flora l tributes on behalf of Commander 11 Corps Peshawar and Chief of Army Staff. Officers and  soldiers of Chitral Scouts also saluted the martyrs’ memorial  while school students also participated in the event.

Speaking in the event, Colonel Sami said that the purpose of this event is to pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for mother land. The families of the martyrs were  shocked heartbroken when some anti state element insulted their photos and memorials. . He said that May 9 should be celebrated as a black day. These incidents not only caused financial loss to the country , but the families of the martyrs were also hurt. He said that those who played the role of anti-national elements. While doing damage  of the national property, they will be picked and punished one by one. He said that by damaging the national property or desecrating the pictures of the martyrs, anti-national elements were make happy .

He said that the fifth generation  should develop the ability to analyze social media or false news and develop the courage  of discrimination between the right and wrong.. He said that Allah is the supporter of all of us. May Allah  be blessed and may Allah Almighty protect Pakistan. On this occasion, loud slogans of Pakistan Zindabad were also  chanted. After that, Colonel Sami, in an informal conversation, urged the officers, youths and students to protect their country. Be prepared at all times. He said that we are all Muslims and we should please Allah Almighty and the only way to please Him is to follow the path directed by Allah and his prophet. We should do our work very honestly and students should study with heart and grow up to serve the country and the nation. The ceremony was concluded with prayerful words.
