After reading this name we all had an image of a dish basically known as Siri Paye in Pakistan but wait a minute here we are not talking about that dish. It’s all about the heavenly beautiful and eye-catching meadow in Pakistan known as Siri Paye.
It is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 3.058m (10,032ft) above the sea level, located in Shogran in the province of Pakistan Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa. Shogran is a slope station arranged on a green level in the Kaghan Valley. It is a beautiful slope station with encompassing perspective on Makra peak and Musa Ka Mussala.
According to the tourists peaceful and friendly people live in that area and best time to go there is summer. Shogran is surrounded by breathtaking views and Siri Paye are the main places to visit in Shogran.
‘Paye’ basically signifies “high brushing ground” in Hindko language. Paye is at height of 2800meter above the Shogran level. It’s a heavily guarded meadow up north. Because Siri Paye is difficult to reach, it’s often remote. Siri Paye is preserved in its natural beauty because of its winter snow, narrow roads and steep mountain. In winter Paye sprouts turns out to be wide glad of snow. Therefore word ‘Siri’ signifies “Lake”; it’s a small lake arranged before Paye glads. In winter this Siri Lake becomes solidified so that one can stroll over it.
This stunning place lies near Kaghan Valley and Shogran. Siri Paye is surrounded by the beautiful Makra peak, Malika Parbat and Musa Ka Mussala. Where we can found huge amount of yellow and lilac flowers.
If we talk about the way to Shogran Siri paye meadows Is not in good condition. In rainy season the road become slippery and more dangerous due to muddy tracks. It took almost one hour from Shogran to reach Siri Paye. The only vehicle used to reach Siri Paye is jeep no other vehicle can be used for traveling there. Many tourists try to travel in their cars but unfortunately they got unsuccessful and their cars got ruined.
There is also a danger of land sliding while traveling in those routes. Providing its access is safe and if our government provide facilities to the tourists so that these places can become very popular tourist destinations. The beautiful plateau and super stunning places are surrounded by eye-catching views which attract tourists towards them. No doubt our Pakistan is rich in nature’s beauty.
