Thai Consul General Visits SBC Group Head Office in Karachi
Thai Consul General Surasete visits SBC Group Head Office in Karachi and reviews Pakistan’s seafood exports.
Thailand’s Consul General, His Excellency Surasete, along with his wife and a trade officer from the Thai Consulate, visited the SBC Group Head Office in Karachi for a luncheon meeting.
The visit brought together SBC Group partners and senior representatives from Pakistan’s fisheries export sector. The guests were welcomed by the SBC Group partners during the meeting.
A token of remembrance was also presented to the visiting dignitaries. The presentation was made by SBC partners along with Secretary General of the Pakistan Fisheries Exporters Association, Mr Zafar Kundi.
During the meeting, the Thai Consul General appreciated SBC Group’s contribution to the Thailand market. He also acknowledged the company’s market share and role in strengthening seafood trade between Pakistan and Thailand.

Following the luncheon, the Thai Consul General visited Karachi’s fisheries processing facilities.

During the visit, he reviewed seafood processing operations and products prepared for international markets. He also observed seafood products exported to Thailand and other countries around the world.
The visit highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s seafood industry in international trade. It also provided an opportunity to strengthen commercial ties between Pakistan and Thailand.
SBC Group’s growing presence in the Thai market reflects the importance of seafood exports in bilateral trade. Continued engagement between exporters and Thai trade representatives can further support business opportunities.
