Karachi : Soaring inflation and severe unemployment have pushed the people of Pakistan into immense hardship and despair. Team Karachi Welfare Society International is honored to actively collaborate with Hamdard Foundation Pakistan in its mission to promote education and skills, provide dignified employment, and help deserving families stand on their own feet. With the support of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, the ongoing welfare initiatives include:
Skill development courses and vocational training programs
Provision of dignified and sustainable employment opportunities to underprivileged and deserving individuals
In this regard, under the patronage of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and with the special attention of Ms. Saadia Rashid, a grand and dignified Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held on Sunday, 11 January 2026, at a local banquet hall in Korangi.

The prestigious ceremony was graced by Ms. Saadia Rashid, Chairperson and soul of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, as Chief Guest, where she expressed her satisfaction over the success of this great self-reliance initiative. She was accompanied by Syed Muhammad Arsalan, Project Director, Hamdard Foundation Pakistan; Saqib Zeeshan, President Team Karachi; Commander (R) Muhammad Zakir, Chairman Commander Builders; and other distinguished guests. All speakers paid glowing tribute to the humanitarian services of Hamdard Foundation Pakistan and Ms. Saadia Rashid.

During the ceremony, under the “Self-Reliant Employment Project” of Team Karachi Sewing Centers, supported by Hamdard Foundation Pakistan, 130 students (82 women and 48 young men) who successfully completed a six-month professional sewing course were awarded professional sewing machines, certificates, and prizes. In addition, to provide dignified livelihoods to deserving families, 7 employment rickshaws and 3 loader rickshaws were distributed on Qarz-e-Hasna (interest-free loans).
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Ms. Saadia Rashid reaffirmed her commitment that Hamdard Foundation Pakistan would continue to expand skill development, self-reliance, and dignified employment projects in collaboration with Team Karachi Welfare Society International, enabling more families to become self-sufficient.
