HG Group, a multinational investment company engaged in international trade, e-commerce, training, and investment, has agreed to collaborate with GGIP—an Export Development Fund (EDF) project under the Ministry of Commerce and supervised by TDAP—for the modernization and upgradation of gemological training in Pakistan.

Under this partnership, HG Group will provide state-of-the-art equipment to enhance GGIP’s facilities and introduce specialized professional training programs in gemology, faceting, carving, and jade jewelry manufacturing. The training will be extended to both GGIP instructors and students, equipping them with advanced skills to meet international standards. Additionally, HG Group has committed to sponsoring exposure visits to China, ensuring knowledge transfer and hands-on experience in cutting-edge gemstone processing and jewelry manufacturing techniques.

The initiative is expected to strengthen Pakistan’s gem and jewelry sector, enhance value addition, and boost export potential by aligning GGIP’s curriculum with international best practices.
This collaboration marks a significant step toward developing a skilled workforce, fostering industry growth, and positioning Pakistan as a key player in the global gemstone.
