SZABIST ZABTech held a meeting of the Procurement Committee of its Board of Governors on July 6, 2026, to review ongoing procurement activities and discuss strategies for improving operational efficiency.
Qasim Siraj Soomro chaired the meeting. Khursheed Ahmed Junejo and Shams Jafrani also attended the session.

During the meeting, Waheeda Mahesar presented updates on ongoing procurement cases. She briefed the committee on current procurement activities and shared progress reports with the support of the relevant team members.
The committee reviewed the status of ongoing procurement projects, identified key operational challenges and discussed practical measures to ensure timely and transparent procurement processes.
Members also emphasized the importance of maintaining efficiency, accountability and good governance throughout all procurement activities. They agreed to continue monitoring progress and strengthen oversight to support the institution’s operational and academic objectives.
