Karachi Pakistan : Chairman Senate Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, while sharing his views, said that he began writing his book “Chahay Yousuf Say Sada” during his time in jail. He was speaking as the Chief Guest at the book launching ceremony of “Maeeshat Aur Parliament”, a compilation of economic columns by MNA Dr. Mirza Ikhtiar Baig. The Chairman Senate emphasized that authenticity is essential while writing a book or autobiography, noting that every writer must remain mindful of this responsibility.

He said that while writing a travelogue may be relatively easy, documenting one’s life through the lens of history requires great courage and consistency. Mr. Gilani highlighted that the economy and parliament must move together, as neither can be sidelined. He said that national issues are addressed through collective thinking, dialogue, and shared experiences.
