Saigal said the prevailing security threat has forced the government and private sector to
adopt Smart Security System in the major Cities of Pakistan. Under this system technology
based security system should be developed through Surveillance Cameras Instead of putting
the life of hundreds of security personnel under threat , this system can manage the safety
in an intelligent way. The movement can also be checked and secured with the help of this
sophisticated system. While re-designing the cities along with the new developing schemes,
the smart security plan should be attached with these schemes. The streets, roads,
highways. Hospitals, schools, industries, water filters plants, flyovers and multistory
buildings as well as the fixed assets of government and private entities.
Along with security the crime can also be reduced which leads to a drastic reduction in
crime. This will also help the judiciary to manage witnesses as well as the action could be
recorded all the time. These cameras can also read the number plates of fast moving
vehicles bring in reduction in speeding and accidents, will also help to catch the culprits in
various incidents.
Experiments proved the worth of Smart Security System when it was adopted by the leading
banks, corporate companies and government departments, who have adopted and
developed this Surveillance System, saved millions of rupees, energy and brought security
for the human life.
Now the cameras can also check the suspicious movements due to the intelligent software
used in the system. In case of any suspicious movement, which cannot be observed by the
naked eye could be smartly checked and rescued due to this Smart Security System. To make
it more effective wireless connectivity is adopted to avoid the hassle of fiber optic cable and
can be operated with the low electrical power system could also be supported by
generators.
Training programs can be introduced various departments on Provincial as well as Federal
level to operate the Smart Security System in the national interest of Pakistan.
