KARACHI – Nadir Gabol, spokesperson for the Sindh government, held a productive meeting with the Chinese Consul General today, focusing on strengthening cooperation in trade, cultural exchange, and sports.
During the meeting, Gabol reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to maintaining its deep and enduring relationship with the people of China. “The people of China and Pakistan have always stood by each other in difficult times, and this friendship has only grown stronger over time,” he stated.
Gabol also praised the vision of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) founder, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, for initiating cooperation with China in the 1960s. He noted that projects related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) made significant progress during President Asif Ali Zardari’s first term, helping to elevate the relationship between the two nations to new heights.
The meeting is seen as a key step toward further solidifying the strong bond between Pakistan and China and advancing mutual interests.
