Karachi: United Kingdom based Pakistan Britain Business Council (PBBC) and Dreamworld Resort, Hotel & Golf Course, Pakistan, signed a MoU for the cooperation in the fields of hospitality, trade, investment, and internationally accredited education in Pakistan on 27th of October, 2022.
His Excellency Nafees Zakaria, Former High Commissioner for Pakistan to the UK as well as Honorary Chief of Advisory Board of PBBC, UK, signed the MoU on behalf of PBBC, while Mr. Irfan Hilal, CEO, signed on behalf of Dreamworld Resort, Hotel & Golf Course.
Nafees Zakaria lauded the endeavors of Dreamworld for providing recreation facilities in a city like Karachi, which had high demand such entertainment and excursion of such high standard, and, at the same time, emphasized PBBC’s resolve to collaborate and help materialise the vision behind the Dream World and attain its objectives.
Mr. Irfan Hilal, the CEO, appreciated PBBC’s initiative of entering into a cooperative relationship with the Dreamworld. He expressed optimism the relationship will go a long way in transforming the world of entertainment and hospitality industry, in particular, and other identified areas in general. Mr. Hilal expressed commitment to attain the noble objective: “The development and growth of Pakistan and world class service to Pakistanis and the foreign visitors to Pakistan.”
The CEO also thanked PBBC for choosing Dreamworld as their natural partner for trade, investment, and education.
Mr. Rashid Iqbal, CEO of PBBC, UK, congratulated both the organisations for signing a landmark agreement. Referring to his vision coming to fruition, it is the first step and there is lots more work that still needs to be done with challenges ahead.
PBBC will remain focused in working with like-minded partners and businesses must come together to bring about a change in enhancing trade between our two great countries.
Nafees Zakaria also highlighted the following points for cooperation to promote bilateral relations between the two great countries:

To make Dreamworld recreational/resort site an iconic resort site, PBBC is committed to bringing international architects, engineers, and designers of iconic Theme Parks. It is high time to introduce world-class entertainment and leisure activities enjoyed in developed countries. Such projects will not just create jobs but also bring prosperity and generate revenue.”
