Flood disasters continue across the country, the village of Shahnawaz Dhani, the fast bowler of the national cricket team, also fell victim to the recent floods.
The Facebook page of Shahnawaz Dhani, who belongs to village Khawar Khan Dhani of Larkana, has said in his post that the cricketer’s village has also been completely flooded, there is only water everywhere in his village. Electricity has been missing for several days.
It should be noted that last week Shahnawaz Dhani appealed to the government and non-government organizations to help the families affected by the recent floods in Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab in his message on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
In his message, Shahnawaz Dhani also requested the people of the flood affected areas to help each other.
The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) says that 75 more people have died due to floods and rains during the last 24 hours, after which the total number of people killed due to floods and rains has reached 1136.
While releasing the data of damages caused by floods and rains, NDMA says that 33.3 million 46 thousand people have been affected by floods and rains so far.
