Karachi: Pakistan has the courage and capacity to get out of the IMF program and pay off all international debts for which Pakistan needs continuous economic development programs. Pakistan must control its unwanted imports to keep a balance between imports and exports.
Pakistan a resourceful country and Pakistanis are hard working & full of skill with love for their country. Present floods have further created more problems but soon all will be settle down smoothly and we will rehabilitate our flood victims.
Thanks to the World Bank & all friendly & Muslim countries specially USA for their aid to address these difficult times. It is also strongly needed to prepare a food policy and management of waters for the coming years specially building small and big dams for our youth and country. Industry Academia linkages must play its role & join hands with industry for knowledgeable economy, awareness sessions must be held in every sector of life specially IT based & e-commerce imports exports banking and marketing. Trade officers deputed abroad must guide and provide info on business possibilities.
It is strongly suggested to hold single country exhibitions and promote business in new markets of central Asian estates and Africa.SME sector very important sector of our economy sharing almost 40% of our exports & must be given its due respect to promote more exports. Banking must be made easy for SMEs. SBP must play its due role & also reduce rate of bank mark up for SMEs.
Mr. Ishaq Dar finance Minster has started to take steps for the restoration of the economy by reducing prices of gasoline and other items. Textiles are also getting a renewed trust to move forward. It is worth to mention that stock exchange have shown a steady slow and smooth change which may change the face of Pakistan in the community of nations. Finance Minster Dar has open dialogue with IMF and hopefully some relief due to floods & for industries to control cost of doing business. It is hoped that Senator Dar will prevail upon IMF to understand that loans can be only returned if industry keeps on working smoothly.
Overseas Pakistanis need to be respected for their love to Pakistan. A respectful program to honour overseas Pakistanis will increase their remittances. SBP must ensure speedy and quick payment of their remittances with some percentage of bonuses.
