During lock down, the most difficult thing has been ‘self-discipline’. Discipline to keep your routine productive, motivated to keep working, energy to improvise on your projects which are no more traveling. I have never stayed at home this long ever before. Those of you who have known my work, knows I was traveling most of the time. Rest of the time, attending events and was out around Karachi.
This is the new normal and I am learning to make the best out of it. All the work is online now; projects are series on my YouTube Channel. If you have not watched yet, I have started two series ‘Sadequain, our legend’ and ‘Behind the art scene’. I guess it was time to take a breather and stay indoors.

But how did I manage to keep the self-discipline considering I am the only one supervising, parenting, guiding, motivating and everything else to myself. It was keeping my routine alive, keeping it same as it was before pandemic with few changes for the sake of my sanity. I guess, I have done it pretty much and I am proud of myself for my ‘self-discipline’. It’s okay to be proud on your own self when you are the one doing it all alone.
