ISLAMABAD, March 11: The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has licensed LSE Ventures Limited to operate as a Corporate Restructuring Company (CRC). The Commission has also granted a license to Wealthbridge Management Limited to provide Digital Investment Advisory Services.
The licensing of LSE Ventures Limited increases the number of CRC in Pakistan to three. These companies assist financially distressed businesses through restructuring mechanisms such as debt rescheduling, capital reorganization, and operational restructuring. The support the rehabilitation of both listed and unlisted companies and help them continue their operations.
LSE Ventures Limited is the successor entity to the Lahore Stock Exchange. The company will undertake restructuring and revival of distressed companies in accordance with the applicable regulatory framework.
Wealthbridge Management Limited will offer Digital Investment Advisory Services. The approval has been issued under the regulatory framework for digital platforms operated by Asset Management Companies.
Wealthbridge Management Limited is the first company in Pakistan to operate as a digital investment advisory firm under the Digital Asset Management framework. The license allows the company to provide investment advisory services to investors through regulated digital platforms.
SECP continues to facilitate the development of financial services by enabling regulated entities and supporting innovation within the existing regulatory framework.
