He was part of the Mengmaji team in the expedition. With the head of Kanchenjunga, Sarbaz Khan became the first Pakistani to climb 10 of the 14 peaks at 8,000 meters in the world.

He has vowed to climb all 14 high mountains and started the campaign by climbing Nanga Parbat in 2007, after which he climbed K2 in 2018.

In 2019, he climbed Broad Peak, Lohatsay and Manaslu, while in 2021, Sarbaz climbed Annapurna, Mount Everest, Gesherbrum II and Dowlagiri.

After Kanchenjunga, he plans to head to Makalu Peak this month, and later this year he plans to head to Gesherbrum One, after which he plans to head to Chou Yew and Sheesh Upangma.

In a message after climbing Kanchenjunga, the third highest peak in the world, Sarbaz Khan thanked the sportspersons and asked for prayers for their safe return.
