KARACHI – Leading Political and Social Leader, a well-known businessman and revered philanthropist Samir Mir Shaikh has been appointed as a Member of the Advisory Committee of NFEH- National Forum of Environment and Health- Pakistan.
On the occasion, the members of the board and Chairman NFEH Mr Naeem Qureshi welcomed Samir Mir Shaikh on the board and said that Samir Mir Shaikh is a highly respected politician, a leading businessman and philanthropist whose patronage will further enhance the performance of NFEH. They said that Samir Mir Shaikh brings with him, a vast body of experience for environmental and health work and is well versed in civic issues and environmental health initiatives. The board further said that the addition of Samir Mir Shaikh on the board of NFEH as advisor will most definitely be beneficial in creating public awareness, enhancing activities such as tree plantations, Clean & Green Campaign and CSR programs that NFEH offers.
Samir Mir Shaikh has previously served as Chairman of Higher Education, Science and Technology (All Pakistan) for six years. Samir Mir Shaikh has also remained Head of Academics at United Nations Pakistan, and Advisor and Patron to various forums for environmental, health, and civic issues that needed attention.
