Ambassador Allama Ahsan calls for international intervention over Kashmir and urges world community to wake up to Kashmir dispute. Settlement of the Kashmir dispute as per the United Nations resolutions, release of all political detainees and end to human rights violations by Indian troops in IIOJK.


KARACHI ——— August 5 is a day of remembrance for the United Nations and human rights organizations that freedom and basic human rights are not available to the oppressed people of Kashmir even in this era. Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) Chairman and said that Indian actions in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) amount to war crime and crime against humanity. The last four years have represented the culmination of the worst human rights abuses and the whole Nation is stand with Kashmiri brothers against India’s inhumane siege.
Ambassador Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui speaking on August 5 ,2025 marks the 6th anniversary of the illegal and unilateral actions taken in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which were followed by additional unlawful measures including illegal demographic changes. He also draw the world’s attention to the human rights violations in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Ambassador of Pakistan Imam Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui is said that recalling the resolutions of the Islamic Summit and Council of Foreign Ministers on Jammu and Kashmir, the central secretariat reaffirms the Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony {ICPH} solidarity with the Kashmiri people in the realization of their inalienable right to self-determination. He said that calls for the respect of their fundamental freedoms and basic human rights and for the reversal of all illegal and unilateral measures taken on or after 5 August 2019.
The ICPH Chairman said that 06 years ago, after brutal subjugation of Kashmiris for 07 decades India revoked their constitutional status. But Kashmiri struggle strengthens with each attempt to usurp their natural rights to their land. Every Pakistani stands with their towering struggle.
He further said International community must realize that Kashmir is surrounded by three nuclear powers and nuclear war will be threat not only for this region but the entire world as well. He warned that Indian adventurism could be disastrous for the safety and security of not only the people of Jammu and Kashmir but as well as of the region.
The Ambassador Human Rights & Global Peace Imam Allama Ahsan Siddiqui said it was no secret that India had taken its illegal and unilateral actions on 5 August 2019 to suppress Kashmiris’ freedom struggle, deny them their right to self-determination and change the demographic structure of the valley. He said that Indian atrocities committed in IIOJK were well documented by the UN and other international human rights organizations and even the Human Rights Watch, in a statement earlier this week, had confirmed that the Indian authorities were restricting free expression, peaceful assembly and other basic rights in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony {ICPH} pay rich tribute to the martyrs of IIOJK for their supreme sacrifices. The {ICPH} expresses full solidarity with the Kashmiris and renews its commitment to continue diplomatic, political and moral support to the people of Occupied valley until they get their freedom. He said that ICPH strongly condemned the atrocities of the Indian forces on the Kashmiri people, struggling for the right of their self determination for seven decades, and striping them of their basic rights by shutting down their tools of expression. Reacting on the recently scaled up attacks on the basic rights of people of Indian occupied Kashmir.
