Karachi: Rotary International Director 2022-24 Muhammad Faiz Kidwai said that they are planning for the next 3 years by keeping an overview of the service to humanity, the young generation has to decide the future. He was speaking to the media on the occasion of District 3271 Assembly 2023-24 organized by the Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus and Rotary International District 3271 at a local hotel.
District Governor 2023-24 of Rotary International District 3271 Muhammad Hanif Khan and others also expressed their views on this occasion. Rotarians participated in large numbers in District Assembly 2023-24 includes; District Governor 2022-23 Rotary International 3271 Syed Tehzeeb Kazmi, District Governor Nominee 2024-25 Muhammad Rizwan Adhia, PDG Akhtar Alvi, PDG Muhammad Iqbal Qureshi, PDG Irfan Qureshi, PDG Saleem Rao, PDG Col. Tanveer, PDG Dr. Aftab Imam, Assistant Governor Shaikh Imtiaz Hussain, Syed Kashif Rafi, and Syed Turab Shah District Print & Electronic Media Committee Chair 2023-24.
On this occasion, shields were also presented to the officials of Rotary Club of Karachi Nexus includes; President 2022-23 Syed Khurram Anis, IPP Muhammad Ali Haider, Chaudhry Ansar Javed, Dr. Khalid Hussain Shaikh, Asad Facto, Mohammad Fawad Sheikh, Junaid Hamid, and Arshila Hussain.
Faiz Kidwai said that the district assembly is held every year in which the nominated officials meet the former officials and review the social and welfare projects.
He added said that more than half of Pakistan’s population consists of youth and they want to play a full role in every sector and especially in social sectors.
District Governor 2023-24 RID – 3271 Muhammad Hanif Khan said that the purpose of today’s event is to plan for the future, Rotary International is working in various fields including education, and health.
He added we have provided food grains and other items including cooked food to the people in flood and rain-affected areas of Sindh.
Further, he said that houses are also being constructed for the victims of the flood.
