Pakistan Air Force is continuing to provide humanitarian aid and natural disaster relief to the people stranded in the flood-affected areas of South Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan Air Force, on the special instructions of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, the emergency response teams of PAF are working 24 hours to provide ration to the people trapped in their homes.
The spokesman of the Pakistan Air Force says that humanitarian aid is being provided in Noorwah, Maddpur, Kot Magsi, Maripur, Sahabpur, Habib Kot, Fatehpur, Sadiq Pul, Fazilpur and Hajipur.
“Pak Air Force has always been at the forefront in delivering humanitarian aid during natural calamities.”
The spokesman said that during the operation, hundreds of flood victims have been shifted to safe places, the field medical camps established by the Pakistan Air Force are continuing to provide timely treatment and medicines to the flood victims, and the Pakistan Air Force has been providing humanitarian aid during natural disasters. I am always ahead.
The spokesman of the Pakistan Air Force further said that the relief operation in the areas of South Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh is a practical manifestation of PAF’s determination to help the countrymen in every possible way in the hour of difficulty.
Forecast of floods and heavy rain in rivers and canals of Balochistan
According to NDMA’s advisory, the Flood Forecasting Division has predicted moderate flooding in the rivers and drains of East Balochistan during the next 24 hours and heavy rain after 24 hours.
Another 18 people died due to heavy rains in Balochistan
In Balochistan province, 18 people died in Jafarabad, Gandhka and Awsta Muhammad due to torrential rains during the last 24 hours.
According to the PDMA report, 3 people were killed and 1 injured in Barkhan, while 350 families trapped in Naseerabad were rescued.
The district administration, Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps distributed 122 food packages to the flood victims of Kali Hosni and Kali Ghulam Jan in Quetta Awaran and Lasbela, while two free medical camps were set up in Lasbela and Rabi.
More than 26 thousand houses collapsed across the province
In its report released by PDMA, it was stated that a total of 26 thousand 567 houses have collapsed and partially damaged across the province, while various highways covering 710 kilometers have also been severely affected in the rains.
