On historic landslide victory of Tahreek-e-Insaf during the recent General Election , Waheed Ahmed –Patron-in-Chief All Pakistan Fruit & Vegetable Exporters , Importers (PFVA) and Vice President- FPCCI warmly welcomed the first simple ,realistic , balanced and highly impressive public address by the waiting in Prime Minister Imran Khan , pledging not to take any revenge from his political opponents , honestly sharing political , economical and external challenges , the country is confronted with and his strong will coupled with firm determination has given real boost to the morale of people , traders , vibrant youth and farmers . Congratulating on brilliant success of entire leadership of Tahreek-e-Insaf , I am confident that Imran’s 22 years of consistent tough struggle and firm commitments made during his election campaign would be honored which would turn a weak Pakistan into a great and stable country in the World – Waheed stated with confidence.
Not only Imran Khan and his entire team is well aware of issues of Pakistan, they are equally capable to fix up these issues – Waheed said . Formation of central Govt. Tahreek-e-Insaf would be confronted with stiff challenges of severe shortage of water , High devaluation of PK currency , fiscal deficit , falling exports ,serious flaws in system of tax collection , corruption in Education and health sectors – Waheed opined . The newly appointed Govt. of Tahreek-e-Insaf can take full advantage of the Road map for Horticulture sector developed for uplift of the sector and enhancement of exports by the PFVA after country wide tedious consultative process with the stakeholders. This road map would be extremely helpful to resolve all the issues highlighted above- Waheed suggested.
Waheed Ahmed hailed transparent, impartial general election held in conducive environment as another step for further strengthening democracy in Pakistan. Paying rich tribute to Pak Army and it’s exemplary role and excellent administrative arrangements made by the Election Commission, he appreciated their sincere efforts. Commenting on his first speech , Waheed Ahmed said that Imran Khan emerged as a national leader rather than chairman of a political party who undoubtedly appeared to be absolute sincere and each word of his address to the nation free from element of artificiality truly reflected his deep commitment and serious approach in facing challenges, the country is faced with.
