Karachi – Pakistan Sustainability Week Mega Event Inaugurated at Karachi Expo Centre
Pakistan Sustainability Week (PSW) alongside Solar Pakistan – 13 th International Exhibition and
Conference and Electricity Pakistan – 6 th International Exhibition for Energy Storage and Power Industry
organized by Fakt Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd. opened its doors on 7 th September 2023 at Karachi Expo Centre.
The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Abu Bakar Ahmed – Secretary Energy Government of
Sindh in the presence of Dr. June Kuncoro Hadiningrat – Indonesian Consul General, Eng. Sami Abdullah
Salim Al Khanjari – Oman Consul General, Mr. Saleem Khan Tanoli – CEO -Fakt Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd. and
other renowned industry names.
On this occasion, Mr. Abu Bakar Ahmed stated that “Fakt Exhibitions (Pvt.) Ltd. has taken a wonderful
initiative by organizing Pakistan Sustainability Week Event, he further added that it is good to see private
institutions helping Government achieve its vision of Clean Green Pakistan. We welcome all exhibiting
companies and foresee great potential of alternative energy in Pakistan. We believe this is the right time
for our country to opt for alternative energy and reduce its reliance on orthodox source of electricity
generation.
A high-level summit also took place at the event, highlighting the happenings, innovations and potential
of alternative energy industry. The Summit was attended by both industry experts and academia,
serving as a platform to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
The one of its kind event received an overwhelming response, than 120 eminent global companies from
10 countries including Austria, China, France, Japan, Jordan and Czech Republic etc. PSW Event will last
till 9th September 2023 and is expected to attract more than 10,000 trade visitors, providing them an
ideal opportunity to get acquainted with innovative and state of the art technologies.
