KARACHI: In preparation for the upcoming IGI Lahore Half Marathon (Race
Series), the Pakistan Road Runner Club (PRRC) is sending a contingent of 25
athletes to compete in both the 21.1 km half marathon and the 5 km race. Led
by the renowned founder of PRRC and Asian champion, Jamal Said, along with
his son Haris Jamal, a 6-year-old world record holder in the 21.1 km half
marathon race, the team is determined to showcase their prowess on the
track.
Jamal Said expressed his confidence in the athletes, stating that they have
diligently trained and are fully prepared to demonstrate their abilities in the
marathon race. He emphasized the significance of their hard work and
dedication, expressing hope for their success in the upcoming event.
The athletes, representing the mile and per mile teams, have completed their
