The series of 7 T20 International matches between Pakistan and England is starting from today. The Chichmamati trophy of the series was unveiled as both teams are determined to lift it.
4 matches of the seven T20 series will be held in Karachi and 3 in Lahore, for which the preparations have been completed.
The trophy for the series was also unveiled as England captain Jos Buttler will not be able to participate in the matches in Karachi due to injury.
Captain Moeen Ali said that Jose Buttler will probably be available for the team for the last two matches.
The Green Shirts, on the other hand, will be hoping to overwhelm their opponents in home conditions.
Statistically, England won 13 out of 21 matches, while the Green Shirts managed to win only 6 matches and one match ended in a draw.
The 2015 match in Sharjah was won by England in a super over after a tie.
Two new players, Amir Jamal and Abrar Ahmed, have been included in the Pakistan team for the Asia Cup.
Whether they get a chance in the playing XI or not will be decided before the toss.
The first match of the series between the two teams will be played today at National Stadium Karachi.
