Showbiz Desk: A new award has been added to the Oscar Awards, the world’s largest showbiz awards show by The Academy.
According to foreign media reports, the name of this new award is Fan Favorite Award which will be given to the best film of the fans at the 94th Academy Awards in Dolby Theatre at the Hollywood & Highland Center. Remember that the 94th Academy Awards will be telecast on March 27.
Organizers of the new award say that fans of the Stars can select candidates for the “Fan Favorite Award” by voting on Twitter.
The award was announced at a time when films like “Spider-Man: No Way Home” and “No Time to Die” have failed to get Oscar nominations in major categories, including best picture.
Organizers of the event said that users on Twitter can vote in the Oscar Fan Favorite category by using the hashtag #OscarsFanFavorite or by visiting the website.
According to the media, Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes will host the 94th Oscars Awards, show producer Will Packer announced. This will be the first time hosting the ceremony for each of them. The Oscars will air live on ABC and broadcast outlets worldwide on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at 8 p.m.
