A jawan of security forces was martyred as a result of firing by terrorists from across the border in North Waziristan.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, ISPR, the terrorists suffered heavy casualties in the retaliatory action of the security forces.
The terrorists opened fire in Dutoi area, the martyred 34-year-old soldier Nazar Muhammad belonged to Jafarabad.
Pakistan strongly condemned the use of Afghan territory by terrorists.
ISPR said in its statement that it is hoped that the Afghan authorities will take steps to prevent such incidents in the future.
ISPR further said that the Pakistan Army is determined to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country, the sacrifices of the martyrs further strengthen the determination of the Pakistan Army.
