He said that Interfaith Commission for Peace & Harmony (ICPH) had been observing Yaum-e-Takreem Shuhada in order to remember the martyrs of the country.

Global Peace Ambassador, Human Rights Allama Muhammad Ahsan Siddiqui said Youm-e-Takreem-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan is a day to pledge that Pakistani nation will always remember the sacrifices of our Armed Forces by honouring the Martyrs and Ghazi while acknowledging their courage and fighting spirit. He said Pakistan’s armed forces’ role in maintaining peace in various countries under the United Nations banner was also being acknowledged worldwide. It showed their commitment to the establishment of sustainable peace, particularly in the region. This Day should be a day of thanksgiving & whole nation should pray for the safety and solidarity of Pakistan. He said that today, we bow our heads in reverence and gratitude to the courageous martyrs who laid down their lives to uphold the honor and sovereignty of our beloved Pakistan. Their sacrifice will forever be etched in the annals of our nation’s history.

Our country will always be protected by the strength of our armed forces and the unwavering spirit of our people. He said that no one would be allowed to watch Pakistan with evil eyes.
