KARACHI – Ms Mariam Maqsood Naz, Director of Olympia Group of Companies, is designated as the Chairperson Young Entrepreneurs US-PAK Trade Development Council.
Ms Mariam has worked in Sourcing & Supply Chain with General Electric (GE Aviation) for one year, where she was awarded a trophy along with a letter of appreciation for her excellent performance and contribution to the business.
She has attained her BSc (Hons) in Management Sciences from Loughborough University, United Kingdom. She is a short summer course Graduate from Oxford University in Business & Economics. She is an active STEM Ambassador in England. Her former work experience includes Banking and Marketing.
Mariam has an extensive international exposure through attending exhibitions and conferences worldwide. As a Chairperson for Young Entrepreneurs, she will lead delegations to the United States with business prospects for young businesspersons from Pakistan to extract value and capitalize on their great ideas with the use of this platform.
From organizing such meetings, strong socio-economic ties will develop benefitting both the countries. She is attending the upcoming WEFTEC (Water Environment Federations Technical Exhibition and Conference) from 23rd to 25th September 2019, to be held in CHICAGO USA, which is the largest annual water quality event in the world along with US Counsel General Office Officials.
