KARACHI – In an effort to empower the youth of Pakistan, Lucky Cement Limited has launched a dedicated vocational training program for the permanent residents of District Lakki Marwat. The initiative offers possible opportunities of employment through skill development. Under this program eligible youth will be enrolled for various vocational training programs in partnership with Hunar Foundation at Rashdiabad in District Tandoallahyar.
Lucky Cement Limited is offering full scholarships to the participants for vocational training with boarding and lodging. Students residing permanently and holding domicile of District Lakki Marwat are eligible for the program.
Comprising of several small villages, Lakki Marwat is one of the most under-developed District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Lucky Cement Limited has been actively contributing for the development of this region. In this regards, several community development projects were launched and employment opportunities were also offered to the locals of this remote District at Lucky Cement Limited’s Pezu Plant.
Now in an effort to empower the youth of this area, the Company has launched a dedicated vocational training program, which will train the local youth in various trades and support in uplifting their economic conditions.
The management of Lucky Cement Limited believes that the aim of this program is to empower youth and create employment opportunities for them, especially from the rural areas regardless of their financial background. The management believes that the program will help in providing more opportunities to youth which is vital for the progress of any nation.
