Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member Provincial Assembly Malik Liaquat was seriously injured in the murderous attack, fired by unknown persons in Lower Dir.
According to the police, a police officer and a Levies officer were also killed in the firing incident.

The police say that MPA Malik Liaquat’s brother and nephew are among the deceased.
According to the police, MPA Malik Liaquat was on his way to Nagutal, his native area, when firing took place on the way.
The police further said that the injured were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Timargarh.
