Commonwealth Games: 20-year-old Pakistani wrestler won a medal in the first event of his career

Pakistan bagged another silver medal at the Commonwealth Games, taking the total number of medals for the national team to 7. 

Pakistan’s Sharif Tahir won the silver medal in the 74 kg category of the wrestling events of the event. 

He could not beat India’s Naveen in the final match. 

It should be noted that this is Pakistan’s third silver medal in the Commonwealth Games while it is the seventh medal overall. 

It should be noted that this was the first international event of 20-year-old Sharif Tahir, who won a silver medal.
