Karachi – April 19, 2023: Karachi Vocational Training Centre (KVTC) is proud to announce that six of its talented students have been selected to represent Pakistan in the prestigious 19th Japan WATA Open International Taekwondo Championship. The event will take place in Japan, and the students have departed under the leadership of Grand Master Najam, along with team leader Amir Shahab and Coach Shah Bukhari. As a nonprofit vocational training centre dedicated to empowering young differently-abled individuals through education, vocational skills, and sports, KVTC is thrilled to see its students excel in the field of sports and proudly represent their country on an international stage. The selected students from KVTC have trained diligently and showcased exceptional skills in Taekwondo, a Korean martial art that emphasizes self-discipline, respect, and perseverance. The students have been preparing for this prestigious championship for months, undergoing rigorous training and demonstrating unwavering dedication to their craft. The Japan WATA Open International Taekwondo Championship is a highly competitive event that draws talented athletes from around the world. The students from KVTC have previously won multiple medals in this championship, showcasing their excellence and dedication to the sport.
