Karachi – Prominent businessman Kafeel Hussain inaugurated the KHA Business International Relations. The event featured the UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi as a special guest. The event also saw the participation of various notable individuals, including former Ambassador to the UAE, Mr. Jameel Ahmed Khan, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman, Eng. Sami Al Khanjari, Consul General of Turkey, Mr. Cemal Sangu, Consul General of Indonesia, Dr. June Kuncoro, President Karachi Business Forum and Think Tank, Mr. Rashid Ahmed Siddiqui , Chairman of Bulgaria Forum, Mr. Sheikh Mohammed Magoon, Ex- Presidents of KCCI, Mr. Majyd Aziz, Mr. Tariq Yousuf, Chief Secretary of Sindh,Mr. Mumtaz Ali Shah, Consul General of Morocco, Mr. Ishtiaq Baig, Consul General of Yemen, Mr. Ikhtiar Baig, President of Hyderabad Gymkhana,Mr. Agha Taj Mohammed, and other distinguished guests, including Mr. Tariq Mustafa, Mr. Afzal Chamdia, and Mr. Aftab Imam, Chief Commissioner of FBR.
During his address at the ceremony, Kafeel Hussain emphasized the commitment of both Pakistan and the UAE to boost bilateral trade. He highlighted the deep economic, cultural, and cultural ties that exist between the two nations, underscoring the ongoing efforts to strengthen their economies. According to Hussain, business leaders play a crucial role in the development of the country, and they are taking measures to improve Pakistan’s economy. They are facilitating foreign investments and contributing to progress in various sectors.
UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi, in his speech, highlighted the longstanding cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE since 1971.
He stated that the UAE is committed to assisting Pakistan in becoming a prosperous nation and lauded the highly qualified professionals in Pakistan, including doctors and engineers, who will drive the country’s progress. Al-Rumaithi assured that the doors of the UAE will always remain open to all Pakistani expatriates. He also pointed out the significant investment opportunities in Pakistan and encouraged special attention to further boost Pakistan’s economy.
The event also recognized philanthropists, diplomats, and businessmen for their contributions to society. Mr. Islahuddin Siddique received the “KHA Business and International Relations Lifetime Achievement Award 2023” for his work in sports, while another award went to Mr. Farooq Dadi for his social service. Concluding the event, esteemed businessman Kafeel Hussain presented a memento to UAE Consul General Bakheet Ateeq Al-Rumaithi.
