Aren’t those traders who take undue advantage of Ramadan part and parcel of markets and Associations that look toward KCCI for support?
Aren’t many of these traders part of KCCI Small Traders Group?
What role do the leaders of these markets and Associations play, or are they themselves involved in raising prices, creating shortages, and indulging in hoarding?
Has KCCI ever used moral, ethical, and institutional authority to convince these traders to refrain from such activities especially in Ramadan?
In times like these where inflation is unbearable, where unemployment is increasing daily, where there are growing social, political, and economic issues, isn’t this the responsibility of private sector to provide support to the consumers?
