The bodies of the remaining 5 people in the car that sank 2 days ago in the flood relay on Motorway M5 Link Road in Malir area of ??Karachi are expected to be found today.
The volunteers of Edhi Foundation have resumed the rescue operation today to search for the bodies of the drowned people.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police Irfan Ali Bahadur, the sunken car was found early in the morning 2 to two and a half kilometers away from Link Road.
According to SSP Malir, the flow of water was so fast that the boy’s body was found 7 km away while the girl’s body was found 10 km away.
According to Irfan Ali Bahadur, there was no rain yesterday due to which the water level in the Malir river has come down and the flow of water has decreased.
He said that all police stations of Malir have been informed and an active search has been started for the bodies of 5 persons including 2 children.
It should be noted that 2 days ago, during the heavy rain on the Malir Link Road, the flood train passing through the road washed away the car going from Karachi to Hyderabad.
Apart from the driver, a husband and wife from Karachi and their 4 children were also in the car.
