Karachi: Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) has organized a blood donation campaign for its employees and customers, in cooperation with The Indus Hospital, to assist the country in replenishing a depleted blood supply.
As Pakistan celebrates its 75th independence day amid the Coronavirus outbreak Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) has taken the initiative keeping in view the spirit of independence and making a difference for those who need it. The campaign has been necessitated by the country’s shortage of blood and blood products, which has been exacerbated by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, which has stretched the country’s blood bank to the limit.
Mr. Veqar ul Islam – CEO of Jaffer Business Systems (JBS) encouraged everyone to donate blood because thousands of patients are in need. He thanked the employees and customers and said “Pakistan has given us so much and this is the little effort on our part to pay back to the nation. In our ongoing efforts to support the community, we are pleased to partner with The Indus Hospital to host this blood drive and create awareness on the significance of blood donation”
