Karachi, Pakistan – March 6, 2024 – ILMA University proudly marked a significant milestone in its illustrious journey of academic excellence as it celebrated its 19th Convocation at the prestigious PC Hotel Karachi today. The event witnessed the conferral of degrees upon more than 350 pass out graduates, signifying their remarkable accomplishments and dedication to learning.
The Academic procession was led by Registrar ILMA University Syed Kashif Rafi accompanied by graduates, esteemed faculty members, Deans, guest of honors and honorable Members BoG ILMA University. The welcome speech was delivered by Vice Chancellor ILMA University Prof. Dr. Mansoor uz Zafar Dawood. Gracing the occasion, Chancellor Noman Abid Lakhani, T.I, declared the convocation open, setting the stage for an inspiring and memorable ceremony. Esteemed dignitaries and renowned personalities from the education industry and corporate sector joined ILMA University in applauding the exceptional achievements of its graduates.
A highlight of the ceremony was the recognition of academic brilliance, with a total of 42 medals awarded to outstanding graduates including 28 outshined female graduates with academic excellence, earning prestigious Medals, reflecting ILMA’s commitment to fostering gender equality and empowerment through education.
The convocation hall buzzed with excitement and pride as families, faculty, and friends cheered on the graduates, celebrating their hard work and dedication that led to this remarkable achievement. The convocation management received Support from the Department of Quality Assurance & Liaison, Under the Leadership of Fawwad Mahmood Butt. The students also showcased more than 15 final year projects with innovative solutions which were highly apprised by the industry professionals.
The graduates were also offered induction in ILMA University’s Management Trainee Program leading to lucrative job opportunities to more than 300 candidates.
While speaking to the media, Chancellor Noman Abid Lakhani, T.I, commended the graduates, their parents & faculty for their perseverance, resilience, and academic excellence. He emphasized ILMA University’s unwavering commitment to providing a nurturing environment that fosters holistic growth and prepares students for the challenges of the future.
