Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has given the government six days to dissolve the assemblies and declare elections.
Addressing the workers at Jinnah Avenue Islamabad, Imran Khan said that if the election was declared and assemblies were not dissolved, he would return to Islamabad with the people.
He said that the government was leading the country towards anarchy. Two PTI workers were martyred at the behest of the government.
Imran Khan said that all sorts of methods were used to thwart the independence movement, the way the workers fought tear gas was unprecedented.
Chairman PTI said that thousands of people including our leaders and workers have been arrested. The Supreme Court took notice of the arrests and the tear gas shelling at De Chowk, Liberty Chowk.
After a 30-minute speech on Jinnah Avenue, Bani Gala left without holding a sit-in.
Imran Khan’s caravan had entered Islamabad at 11 pm. Earlier, Imran Khan had directed the workers to reach D-Chowk.
