He wrote in condolatory book that the Queen represented continuity, stability and predictability in the face of monumental changes for the UK and Commonwealth nations. She symbolized the continuity and change that ushered her nation into the contemporary era, in tune with global developments. Her Majesty was a great leader, and above all a humanitarian leader par excellence. Her Majesty was a voice of wisdom, balance and reason. Britain’s longest ruling monarch, the Queen embodied the essence of British leadership for over seven decades and leaves a proud legacy of service to her people and of steadfast friendship and respect for Pakistan. Her Majesty greatly contributed to the enhancement of the bilateral relations between Pakistan and the UK.
Ambassador Imam Allama Ahsan siddiqui said that Pakistan also acknowledged Her Majesty as a great friend to the Pakistan, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II has done a lot to strengthen friendly relations and constructive cooperation between our countries, Her was undoubtedly Pakistan’s best friend, who took several initiatives to provide our country with generous assistance and development cooperation, for which our entire nation owes him a debt of gratitude and his work will never be forgotten.
