Finance Minister Miftah Ismail says that the government has 13 months, I don’t have that much time.
Talking to the media, he said that no one wants to pay tax in Pakistan.
The finance minister said that they are asking for money from every country, there is a lot of shame in this situation.
Miftah Ismail said that PTI had broken the agreement with IMF signed in November and then gave subsidy on fuel.
He further said that after coming to government, our first priority was to revive the IMF programme.
Finance Minister Miftah Ismail has also said that immediately after taking over the government, he contacted the IMF to save the country from default.
