Galle: In the ongoing first Test match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the host team was all out by scoring 222 runs in the first innings.
According to the details, Dinesh Chandimul was the most prominent player from Sri Lanka who played an innings of 76 runs.
From Sri Lanka, captain Dimath Karuna Ratne, Ushada Fernando, Kaushal Mendis, Dhananjaya De Silva, Nirushan Dakwila, Ramesh Mendis, Prabhath Jayasuriya, Dinesh Chandimal and Mahesh Thakshana are out. These players scored 1, 35, 21, 14, 4, 11, 3, 76, 38 runs respectively while Angelo Mathews went to the pavilion without scoring any runs.
Sri Lanka’s first wicket was 11 runs, while the second and third wickets were 60 runs and the fourth wicket was 68 runs, the fifth wicket was 99 runs, the sixth wicket was 103 runs, the seventh wicket was 130 runs and the eighth wicket was 133 runs, the ninth wicket was 177 runs and the last wicket was 222 runs.
On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 4, Yasir Shah and Hasan Ali took 2, 2 while Naseem Shah and Muhammad Nawaz took one wicket each.
