RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s security forces eliminated five terrorists linked to Indian proxies in three intelligence-based operations carried out in Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday.
In one major operation conducted in Loralai district, troops targeted a group of militants referred to as “Fitna al Hindustan.” Following a heavy exchange of gunfire, four terrorists backed by India were killed. Security personnel also recovered arms, ammunition, and explosives from the site.
ISPR stated that the slain terrorists were involved in several deadly attacks, including the brutal assaults on National Highway N-70 near Rarasham on August 26, 2024, and February 18, 2025, which claimed the lives of 30 innocent civilians. The individuals were on law enforcement agencies’ most-wanted list and had been actively pursued.
In a separate operation in Kech district, security forces neutralized another terrorist.
ISPR reaffirmed that Pakistan’s forces remain committed to eradicating Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country and vowed to bring all perpetrators and their facilitators to justice, emphasizing the nation’s firm resolve in this ongoing fight.
