Karachi, August 9, 2024:– Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh visited the Food and Agriculture Exhibition at the Expo Center Karachi, joined by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Minister of Commerce Turkey Mr. Omar Bolat, Federal Minister Finance, Commerce, Privitization, Information, Law, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, and Governor Kamran Tessori. The exhibition highlighted key innovations in the food and agriculture sectors and attracted significant attention from industry leaders, foreign investors and the public.
The dignitaries explored the various exhibits, underscoring the importance of advancing agricultural technologies and enhancing food security. Their visit emphasized the government’s commitment to support these critical sectors and fostering collaboration for national growth.
Later, the Federal Ministers alongwith Federal Ministers, Chief Minister Sindh and Governor Sindh attended zoom meeting with Bill Gates which was attended by Chief Secretaries and IGPs of all provinces on eradication of polio virus in Pakistan.
The visit of PM concluded after luncheon with Chinese investors at a local restaurant in Karachi which was attended by Turkish Minister of Commerce, Federal Ministers of Pakistan, Chief Minister Sindh, Governor Sindh, Chinese Ambassador and others.
