ISLAMABAD : Embassy of Switzerland in Pakistan, to celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, the Swiss Embassy hosted an Award Ceremony in collaboration with the Adventure Club – Pakistan to promote women’s participation, leadership, and inclusivity in sports. The event took place yesterday at the residence of the Swiss Ambassador and featured young Pakistani women rock climbers.
Ambassador Steiner expressed gratitude to Mr. Tahir Imran Khan, the founder of the Adventure Club Pakistan, and his team for their dedication to creating sports opportunities, particularly for women in Pakistan.

Ambassador Georg Steiner praised the efforts of the distinguished guests to redefine excellence and success in their chosen professions and sports. During a question-and-answer session, the participants also shared their personal stories and struggles with the Ambassador. Winners of the climbing competitions were presented with certificates and shields in recognition of their performance and accomplishments.
