Best Economic Columnist Nation’s Leader Award (NLA) 2022” at a ceremony
held in Karachi, attended by the leaders of the business community, showbiz
personalities, press and electronic media. Dr. Ikhtiar Baig is a renowned
economic columnist and has published more than 1000 economic columns in
the newspaper since 2002 over the last 20 years. Dr. Ikhtiar Baig’s columns
are based on facts and data and liked by the readers in Pakistan and abroad.
The policy makers of the Government also give due importance to Dr. Baig’s
columns as they are supported with suggestions. The Jury of the Nation’s
Leader Award 2022 has conferred the prestigious award to Dr. Baig in
recognition to his contribution to the national and international economic
